Well, it's been a long week. Lots of things going on, some of them out of my control and others just part of the weekly schedule. I'm happy it's Friday. I'm happy that my family is all healthy. I'm happy in my life right now. But, I'm thankful this week is ending. Tomorrow, we have a very full schedule... 2 soccer games, 1 hockey "practice", and a birthday party. No rest for the weary. I have had a hard time keeping up with everything this week.... it seems that when you fall behind on just one day, then the whole week is messed up. I've felt "off" all week, and now it's time to get it all back in control.
Looking forward to updating this over the weekend with all the fun stuff that the kids are doing. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to post as well... it's been a while.
Happy Friday

Wow, it's been a long time...
I had completely forgot that I had set up this blog! I found it again, by accident, and thought what the heck... I should probably start updating it! Basically, I'll just start this again as if I never used it before.
Here we go: My kids, the loves of my life, just started school a couple of weeks ago. KC, in 3rd grade (how that is possible, is beyond me), Andrew, 2nd grade and Matthew in his final year of preschool. With 3 kids, I am extremely busy, and sometimes I wonder how I manage. Both KC and Andrew are in soccer. Andrew does ice hockey, roller hockey, cub scouts and CCD classes every week in addition to soccer. KC does Brownies. I am on the school PTO, I volunteer in the kids classrooms, I keep the house in order, I cook dinner and I try to keep keeping my relationships with my family and friends at the top of my priority list. I work out and run, and make my health and fitness a priority, otherwise I would go crazy. It's not easy sometimes, but somehow I always manage to make it thru each day, each week, each month. I have a husband who works hard, supports us and helps out when he's able to. He also coaches ice hockey, and plays ice hockey himself. When we have a day with nothing to do, it's like Christmas! Those days are few and far between... but we do love them.
I never dreamed this is how my life would be. I can't really complain, but some days I really wish we had less on our plate. To just have a day where we can just hang out, cook dinner, actually sit down to eat it together and talk as a family. Oh we get to do that... but not enough. I know that in no time at all, our kids will be grown up and off to college... and then what will I do? I suppose when that time comes, I'll be ready for some quiet times, but for now... bring on the madness!

Adventures of K.C.
I am hoping to share with you, the many things that K.C. does in her day to day life. Most of it funny, some of it sweet and all of it unpredictable! This is my first blog, and I am hoping to keep everyone up to date on the adventures of K.C. in her daily activities, joys, triumphs, and funnies!
She keeps my life full - full of surprises, laughs, tears of joy, excitement, fear, happiness, amazement, and the list goes on. I hope to open your eyes, if they are not already, to the life of a special child, my child, a child with down syndrome. She is the light of my life, and I hope she will become your light too.
